Master Angler Walleye & Northern Pike
If you are looking for the World’s Best Trophy Walleye Fishing, you have come to the right place. We catch the big ones, and we catch a LOT of them. Year after year we break records for total Master Angler Walleyes caught, and we land some of the largest in all of Manitoba.
Gunisao Lake has some great Northern Pike fishing too. We average between 50 to 70 Master Angler Pike per season, with some of the largest topping out at 47 inches.

Enjoy the freshest walleye on the planet, prepared by your guide. Once you get back from fishing, hors d’oeuvres will be delivered to your cabin for a light snack. It’s only a short time before our Chef prepares you a mouth-watering 3 course evening meal. Then we provide you a fresh salad, an array of home cooked entrees, and delectable dessert to finish your day.

With modern cabins you will feel at home after a long day of fishing. We provide daily cabin cleaning, fresh towels, full size beds, heated showers and a place to unwind after reeling in all those fish. We have 5 cabins and we can sleep any size group up to 32 guests.
All guest have private accommodations and bathrooms. From sitting on your deck in the evenings to keeping you comfortable and warm on the cold nights, our cabins will give you the remote wilderness feel with all the comforts of home.

Your Trip To & From The Lodge
Travel With Ease
Your trip starts in Winnipeg where our expeditor greets you as you arrive by either airplane or car. Direct flights and interstate highways get you quickly and easily straight into Winnipeg. We help you find your hotel and also provide transportation to the private hangar for your 5:30am departure to Budd’s Gunisao Lake Lodge. After a 75-minute flight, you walk off your chartered aircraft and enjoy a fresh breakfast at the Lodge.
As you are eating, your bags are unloaded from the planes and taken to the Lodge. After breakfast, grab your gear and take a short walk to the dock where your experienced guide will get you started on your once-in-a-lifetime fishing adventure!
After a good night’s rest, wake up on the last day of your trip and enjoy breakfast before you fly back to Winnipeg for a 9:30 a.m. arrival. This gives you time to load up your car or head back on a commercial flight at 12 noon or later, and get you home in plenty of time to sleep in your own bed that night. We fly directly from Winnipeg and land on our private air strip, so you can enjoy all the advantages of a remote lake with less time traveling to get there.
After a good night’s rest, wake up on the last day of your trip and enjoy breakfast before you fly back to Winnipeg for a 9:30 a.m. arrival.
